I did not set out to start a company. I set out to stop losing my sight on the court.

It started with my own game

For years it was the same story. I would hit a decent shot, look up, and have no idea where it went. Into the glare off the tee, down into the rough, gone. I would spend the next few minutes walking in circles while my group waited, then give up and drop another ball. It is a small thing, but it wore on me. The part of golf I loved, the easy hours outside with friends, kept getting interrupted by the frustration of simply not being able to see my own ball.

It was not my game, it was physics

For a long time I assumed I was just unlucky, or getting worse. Then I learned the truth. A white ball sitting on green grass in bright sun is a contrast problem, not a skill problem, and the human eye cannot fully win that fight. It is the same reason pilots and marksmen have used blue filtering lenses for decades to cut glare and pull detail out of the haze. So I bought the cheap ball finder glasses you see all over the internet. They were flimsy, gave me a headache, and barely worked. Being sold a gimmick when there was real science behind the idea bothered me more than the lost balls did.

So I built the pair I wanted

I decided to make the version that should have existed all along. After many iterations, BALLHAWK™ PRO was born, a proper polarized contrast lens, comfortable enough to wear for a full round, and honest about exactly what it does and what it does not. The first time I wore a pair on a bright afternoon, I watched my drive land instead of losing it in the sky, and I knew I was onto something. That is all VEO is. Not miracle claims or hype, just real optics that give golfers back the simple joy of seeing their own shot, backed by a guarantee, because trust has to be earned.
